The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy launched a tour package, covering the tourist destinations of Banyuwangi, West Bali, and North Bali, on Saturday.
Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno stated that the tour package, called “3B”, combines the rich tourism potential of the three destinations.
“It offers rich attractions in terms of natural beauty and culture, supported by abundant culinary experiences. I am confident that the 3B tour package will be a hit, as Banyuwangi has complete tourism potential,” he said.
Uno noted that the tour package was launched as part of efforts to support global-scale tourism in Banyuwangi, East Java.
Banyuwangi’s leading destinations include Kawah Ijen Natural Tourism Park, famous for its blue lava; Teluk Ijo Beach; Pulau Merah Island; De Djawatan Forest; and Sukamade Beach, known for its egg-laying turtles.
All of these destinations are included in the tour package, along with West Bali’s Medewi Beach, a haven for surfers.
In North Bali, the destinations covered by the package include Tembok Tourism Village, Les Tourism Village, Pemuteran Beach, and Lovina Beach.
Uno stated that his ministry launched the tour package at the end of September to prepare for the long year-end holiday season.
He expressed optimism that the tour package will attract many foreign tourists, particularly from China.
The tour package is inclusive, allowing low- to middle-class tourists to participate. Prices start from Rp700,000 (around US$46.29) per person.
