A Space for the Unbound is a beautiful story, taking place in rural Indonesia during the 90s, where you play as high schooler Atma. Although this game is quite linear in terms of the story, there are tons of opportunities to explore the town around you.

Here, we are going to take a look at how long it takes to beat A Space For The Unbound. This will include the main storyline, as well as how long it will take for you to 100 percent the game. As usual, this will vary based on your personal play style, so be sure to keep this in mind.

How Long Does It Take To Complete?

On average, it will take you around ten hours to beat A Space For The Unbound. If you tend to play a bit slower, then completing the main story will take you upwards of 11 hours. This includes spending some time exploring and talking to every resident in town.

Although it’s possible to rush your play, this will not drastically change the time, as you still need to watch cutscenes and run through town to complete your objectives.

How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent?

To achieve 100 percent completion, you are looking at around 12 hours of playtime. This includes unlocking all achievements, which are available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. In total, there are 25 achievements, with one given after you complete each chapter.

If you are playing on Nintendo Switch, there are no achievements, but you can still keep a mental checklist based on the achievements of other consoles.

How Many Chapters Does It Have?

There are six main chapters, as well as a prologue chapter that happens at the beginning of the game. In total, this makes for seven sections that can be completed.

Prior to the release of A Space for the Unbound, the prologue was available for free. This ‘demo’ took around 30 minutes to complete and is the same content as the prologue in the complete game.
