TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Highlighting this weekend’s agenda is Festival Pemuda Indonesia (Indonesian Youth Festival), the two-day music event. Tempo English also noted two other events scheduled this weekend, October 14 to 15, 2023, including the grand concert in the National Monument and the Bandung x Beauty event.

1. Festival Pemuda Indonesia
The Indonesian Youth Festival, formally dubbed Festival Pemuda Indonesia, is a week-long event initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to commemorate Indonesia’s historic Youth Pledge. This weekend, the festival will culminate into a two-day free concert filled with performances from Indonesian musical talents. The festival will be held at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Building, Central Jakarta, starting at 03:00 p.m. WIB.
The musical group JKT48 will open the festival tomorrow, with Hindia and Hura Hura Club set to enliven the stage on its first day. On Sunday, October 15, The Rain, Bilal Indrajaya, and Sisitipsi are scheduled to perform on the last day of the festival with Ungu as the closing act. 2. Bandung x Beauty
The long-awaited beauty event, Bandung x Beauty will be held for three days, from October 13 until Sunday, October 15, at Trans Convention Centre. The event offers various activities for beauty enthusiasts from shopping fares from more than 100 beauty brands, talk shows, and meeting with beauty influencers and artists including Adhisty Zara, Abel Cantika, Jovi Adhiguna, Patricia Gouw, and others.

3. Monas Grand Concert
The National Monument (Monas) Grand Concert is a classical music concert scheduled at Silang Tenggara Monas in Jakarta, on Sunday, October 15, 2023, starting at 06:30 p.m. WIB. The concert, organized by Aula Simfonia Jakarta, will present musical compositions from world-renowned composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky led by Dr. Stephen Tong as the conductor.
The concert is free of charge and will only be available offline, with no online streaming options.
