Speaking at a press conference, Deputy Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu said that after fully opening, Vietnam’s tourism has shown signs of improvement. He outlined four major products: sea and island tourism, cultural tourism, eco-tourism and urban tourism. Other products include luxury tourism, adventure tourism, medical tourism and golf tourism.

Sieu said Vietnam tourism is embracing strong recovery opportunities. “First of all, our visa policy has returned to the pre-pandemic level such as visa exemption for ASEAN countries to enable easy travel. Second, we support tourism businesses to reconnect with partners in the region with the support of the government, with initiatives and policies on taxes, fuel, and costs. We also intensify promotion and create a platform to connect tourism businesses with international partners through international events and forums,” he added.

At the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2023, Vietnam’s  pavilion at the TRAVEX Fair is impressively designed into the image of a boat, sending the message of Vietnam’s tourism industry “surpassing the waves after COVID-19”, inviting visitors to Vietnam. It is spreading the image of “Vietnam – Endless Beauty” and welcoming visitors with new feelings, new flavors, and new shades.
