The new beauty queen is 21 years old, 1,74m tall, born and raised in Bali, Indonesia. She studied Applied Design at the Bali Institute of Design and Business in Denpasar. Before that, she studied Management at Udayana University.
Ketut’s victory received enthusiastic support from international fans. Throughout the competition, she maintained a stable and outstanding performance.
The runner-up position of Miss Cosmo 2024 belongs to Karnruethai Tassabut from Thailand.
Indonesian representative crowned Miss Cosmo 2024:
Vietnamese representative Bui Xuan Hanh entered the final top 5. After nearly 1 year of being crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 and receiving mixed opinions, Xuan Hanh has gradually improved her skills and physique.
The final night included swimsuit and evening gown performances and a question-and-answer session. Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa from the Philippines and MC Duc Bao took on the role of host.

Opening the final night, 56 contestants stepped out to the vibrant music performed by international star Shontelle. The beauties appeared on stage, wearing short dresses in blue and black.

Beauty Britthany Marroquín from Honduras caused regret when she missed the top 21. Previously, she was in the top 20 of Miss Grand International 2023.

Miss Thailand was asked what she wanted her term to be like after 20 years of being crowned. The Vietnamese representative received a question from runner-up Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen about the role of successful people. She shared that successful people will bring influence and opportunities to everyone, because those who achieve success work hard and believe in themselves. When they succeed, they have to try harder and be more confident, that is why they can inspire others.
Meanwhile, Miss Peru encountered many difficulties in the important behavioral round due to limited English ability and had to use an interpreter.
The final top 2 were Indonesia (Ketut Permata Juliastrid) and Thailand (Karnruethai Tassabut).
The two girls finally entered the debate round, demonstrating their fluent English, giving convincing arguments and clear evidence. Their rebuttals were all profound, demonstrating their broad understanding and flexible improvisation.
The Indonesian representative highlighted the issue of plastic pollution in the ocean and introduced her environmental protection project. She will organize workshops to raise awareness about plastic pollution and teach recycling, together with the Miss Cosmo organization.
Miss Thailand asked about plastic recycling and the price of recycled plastic products, whether this is beneficial to consumers or not? Miss Indonesia replied that all her efforts are aimed at protecting the planet and contributing to this common goal.
Miss Thailand emphasized the importance of protecting land resources, especially in the context of resource shortages due to plastic waste. She called for immediate action, gathering knowledge and spreading awareness of environmental protection. When asked by Miss Indonesia about specific steps to regenerate resources, she said she would guide farmers in sustainable farming and believed that even city dwellers could contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle if they were aware of the importance of this.
