Minor Hotels to manage Bali’s new luxury resort

Minor Hotels has signed an agreement to manage the upcoming Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort, a resort and branded residences, on the Indonesian island of Bali.

Slated to open in 2027, the Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort is located on the black volcanic shores, a short drive from Canggu and Seminyak, and an hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

It will be the first luxury beachfront resort on Seseh Beach and the third Anantara Hotels & Resorts property in Bali.

Real estate and development company Taryan Group is responsible for the development and ownership of the Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort.

Designed by British architect John Dawes, the resort’s architecture is inspired by the Barong of Bali, a mythical dragon-like guardian.

The 216-key resort will offer a range of rooms and suites from 52m² to 120m².

Taryan Group founder and owner Artur Mkhitaryan said: “We are honoured to work with Minor Hotels in bringing Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort and Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Residences to Seseh Beach.

“The combination of the distinctive architecture and design of our cocoon residences, elevated by the Anantara signature hospitality, will offer guests and owners extraordinary experiences that celebrate Bali’s natural beauty and culture.”

Taryan Group-developed Cocoon Residences will offer modern elegance and harmony with nature, boasting views of the Indian Ocean.

Guests at the Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort will also have access to a variety of amenities, including the Anantara Spa, yoga and meditation studios, a fitness centre, and a surf school.

The resort will feature three dining outlets, including a Japanese restaurant and a poolside bar.

Minor Hotels currently operates the Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort and Avani Seminyak Bali Resort on the island.

The expansion continues with the opening of the Anantara Ubud Bali Resort in September 2024, offering 66 suites, pool villas, and 15 branded residences amidst the island’s tropical landscape.

Recently, Anantara Hotels & Resorts unveiled a reimagined brand identity, marking a milestone as the company’s portfolio surpasses 50 properties worldwide.

“Minor Hotels to manage Bali’s new luxury resort” was originally created and published by Hotel Management Network, a GlobalData owned brand.
