Chef Takeumi at CIRE Restaurant 10-13 April 2023
Chef Takeumi Hiraoka, Japanese Executive Sous Chef of Park Hyatt Jakarta’s KITA 喜多Restaurant will assume command of CIRE Restaurant at Alila Villas Uluwatu for four very special days from 10 – 13 April 2023. Born in Tokyo, Chef Takeumi is a master of the delicate knife techniques essential for preparing authentic Japanese cuisine, having honed his skills in establishments around the world.
For over a decade, Takeumi-san served as the head sushi chef at a famous Tokyo restaurant, then became executive chef at a popular Asian restaurant in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. In 2015, he moved to Qatar, where he developed an award-winning restaurant at a luxury beach resort. He went on to open the SORA Japanese Restaurant at Park Hyatt Doha, where his discerning guests included Qatari Royalty, before bringing his expertise to Park Hyatt Jakarta in 2022.
Perched on the 37th Floor, at the summit of Park Hyatt Jakarta in the Indonesian capital’s tranquil Menteng area, KITA 喜多 Restaurant delights diners with the authentic flavors of modern Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi, shabu-shabu, teppanyaki, tempura, and robatayaki.
Under Chef Takeumi’s tutelage, KITA 喜多 uses only the finest local and imported ingredients and fresh produce, crafting them into an innovative, authentic, thoughtfully prepared, and carefully served menu.
Across the four days of the promotion, guests and visiting diners at CIRE at Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali will have the exclusive opportunity to sample a menu of signature dishes created by this Japanese grand master of his culinary craft. A collaborative menu prepared with the expert team at CIRE will present a perfect balance of freshness and flavor, including dishes such as nigiri sushi and sashimi, robata grill dishes, and lobster tempura with a sweet and spicy sauce, along with appetizers, soba noodles, and desserts.
All in all, an exquisite dining experience not to be missed!
